PDIH UNISSULA Head Serves as External Thesis Examiner at Al-Azhar University, Egypt

Cairo, August 1, 2025 – The Head of the Doctoral Program in Law (PDIH) at UNISSULA's Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Anis Masdurohatun, S.H., M.Hum., was entrusted with serving as an external examiner for a thesis defense at Al-Azhar University's Faculty of Sharia and Law in Cairo, Egypt. This involvement is an important part of strengthening international academic ties while demonstrating PDIH UNISSULA's contribution to the development of legal and Islamic legal scholarship at the international level. The thesis defense was held on July 31, 2025 at Al-Azhar University's Faculty of Sharia and Law. In her capacity as external examiner, Prof. Dr. Anis Masdurohatun provided assessment and academic input on the research presented at the examination. The event was conducted formally, involving academics from Al-Azhar University's Faculty of Sharia and Law. The examination took place in a solemn and constructive academic atmosphere. The presence of Prof. Dr. Anis Masdurohatun alongside Al-Azhar University academics reflected a space for scholarly exchange between Indonesian and Egyptian academics, particularly in the fields of law and sharia.
