PDIH UNISSULA Holds Community Service in Dieng, Combining Comparative Legal Studies and Cultural Exchange

Dieng, November 30, 2025 – The Doctoral Program in Law (PDIH) at UNISSULA carried out a community service activity in Dieng under the theme "Comparative Legal Studies and Cultural Exchange: Exploring Indonesian and Jordanian Legal Perspectives in Dieng." The activity was part of PDIH UNISSULA's effort to broaden legal perspectives through a comparative approach while introducing Indonesian cultural values and local wisdom to international students.
The activity was carried out through discussions and direct interaction that combined an examination of Indonesian and Jordanian legal perspectives with an introduction to the social life and culture of the Dieng community. This approach gave participants the opportunity to connect academic study with the social realities and local wisdom found in the community.
The activity took place in a warm, educational, and communal atmosphere. Participants actively took part in discussions and exchanged experiences on the differing legal and cultural perspectives between Indonesia and Jordan. The interaction also served as a means of strengthening ties between international students and the PDIH UNISSULA academic community.
Through this activity, PDIH UNISSULA hopes to strengthen comparative legal perspectives, international academic relations, and cross-cultural understanding. The activity is also expected to be part of the development of PDIH UNISSULA's internationalization program, connecting legal studies with direct experience of Indonesia's cultural diversity and local wisdom.
