Head of Purwokerto District Court Earns Doctorate, Named Third-Best Graduate at UNISSULA

Eddy Daulatta Sembiring, Head of the Purwokerto District Court, earned his Doctor of Law degree and was named third-best graduate at Universitas Islam Sultan Agung's (UNISSULA) 95th Graduation Ceremony, held on Saturday, December 13, 2025. His dissertation, titled "Reconstruction of Legal Regulations on the Status of State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) Officials under Law Number 1 of 2025 for the Harmonization of the Criminal Corruption Enforcement System Based on Justice Values," addressed corruption concerns within state-owned enterprises. The research stemmed from academic concern over the unclear legal status of BUMN officials, which has created disharmony in the criminal corruption enforcement system. The dissertation is expected to contribute to the formation of fairer regulations aligned with the principle of legal certainty. The graduation ceremony was attended by 868 graduates across various levels of education and was led directly by UNISSULA Rector Prof. Gunarto.
