LPDP Scholarship

Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia

A national doctoral scholarship funded by the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education, open to Indonesian citizens pursuing a doctoral degree at approved universities, domestic or overseas.

Eligibility

  • Indonesian citizen (WNI)
  • Holds a Master’s degree, or is a specialist/subspecialist physician
  • Holds an Unconditional Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the target university before applying
  • Meets the minimum English proficiency score required for the doctoral track (e.g. TOEFL iBT 45 / IELTS 5.0 or equivalent)

Doctoral Scholarship for Indonesian Lecturers

Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemdiktisaintek)

A government scholarship dedicated to permanent lecturers (dosen tetap) at Indonesian higher education institutions who wish to pursue a doctoral degree at a leading domestic partner university.

Eligibility

  • Permanent lecturer (dosen tetap) at a public or private university, with a valid NIDN
  • Meets the study-leave (tugas belajar) requirements set by the home institution
  • Maximum age of 50 years old (as of 1 December of the intake year) for the doctoral track
  • Not pursuing a second degree at the same academic level

Law Enforcement Agency Study Scholarship

Agencies such as the Attorney General’s Office, Supreme Court, or Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia

A service-bond or study-leave (tugas belajar) program run by law enforcement agencies for their own qualifying employees pursuing a doctoral degree in law.

Eligibility

  • Permanent employee/civil servant at the relevant agency (e.g. Attorney General’s Office, Supreme Court, Ministry of Law)
  • Meets the agency’s minimum service period and employment requirements
  • Obtains study-leave recommendation/approval from their direct supervisor

Beasiswa Unggulan (Outstanding Achievers Scholarship)

Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Puslapdik)

A scholarship for high-achieving individuals to pursue studies from bachelor’s to doctoral level, including the Doctoral Program in Law, at universities accredited at least “Baik Sekali”/A.

Eligibility

  • Indonesian citizen (WNI)
  • Maximum age of around 40 years old for the doctoral (S3) track
  • Holds relevant academic or non-academic achievement records
  • Target study program accredited at least “Baik Sekali”/A

A full scholarship for Indonesian citizens to pursue a doctoral (PhD) degree at a university in the United States, including law and comparative legal studies.
